Why are dupes not delivering coal to the coal generator when there is plenty of coal?

When I click coal generator and switch to "Errands" tab, it shows no pending delivery. But in fact there is a lot of coal available. I don't know why.

Priority, reachability, dupe with supply errand, minimum level before supply on the generator/

First test is to make the generator emergency priority. If that still does not cause delivery, then it is not a priority problem. Next step is to have one dupe just doing supply and try that. You may also want to check dupe pathing if that still does not work. Oh, and remember that the generators has a "supply if less than xx% fuel" setting, above that it does not trigger supply errands.

Coal generators will not request fuel when disabled by automation

The Fuel request threshold on the coal generators is probably where your problem is. Fuel request threshold will only ask for fuel from dupes or autosweepers when batteries reach a certain threshold.

In your case I assuming Coal generators are automated to a smart battery. Smart Battery sort of contradicts the coal generators fuel request because the smart battery disables them when reach high threshold until the battery reach its low threshold to turn them on. If the generators fuel request threshold is lower than the smart batteries low threshold then the coal generator will never send out a request for more coal until the generators run out of coal and battery eventually goes below its low threshold to 0%. So basically have the fuel request threshold higher than the smart battery low threshold then you will get the errand to supply the generator from dupes, but the errand will probably only show up for a brief moment until the battery reach pass the fuel request threshold so it is kinda weird.
