Naughty inclination is more beneficial than Nice

I will keep this concise.

Wortox's buffs for being Naughty are: No sanity drain from eating souls, delayed overload
At the cost of: No sanity gain from releasing souls

Wortox's buffs for being Nice are: More sanity gained from releasing souls, Wortox loses the "monster" tag
At the cost of: More sanity lost when eating souls

I believe that the Naughty perks far outperform the Nice ones. While the loss of the "monster" tag is beneficial, the sanity tweaks from being Nice are not worth it; You will have to release more souls to offset the sanity loss from eating souls. Meanwhile, the Naughty side loses almost nothing: The sanity from releasing souls is meant to be a way to counter the sanity loss from eating them - not losing any from eating souls means a sanity boost is un-needed - thus making the Naughty inclination more advantageous. 

In my opinion, Wortox should again get a buff to released souls' healing as part of the Nice inclination - while its parallel downside for the Naughty inclination was removed for balance, it would be a fair boost to give Nice Wortox - the asymetry of it should not be an issue, now that the inclinations also have boosts unrelated to direct stat changes.

Wortox gaining sanity from releasing souls was added in a mini tweak they did for Wortox that was supposed to balance out his abysmal sanity loss in the first place. Naughtyness not having sanity drain from eating souls  and not being able to gain sanity from releasing them is actually BETTER than the Wortox we had on release, and it's still better than having to release souls for sanity. You end up spending significantly more souls just trying to balance out the sanity loss from consuming souls than you would just eating them with no gain with Nice inclination. Wortox has reduced sanity loss from monsters and foods anyways thanks to his halved values, the thing that impacts your sanity the MOST is always going to be consuming souls (unless you're loitering around a Nightmare Rampart or something).

I accidentally perked neutral in game by picking the Decoy 1 perk ( I wanted to test it) and didn't realize right away, upon figuring it out I was in complete acceptance, I don't want to reperk into niceness even if I think Soul Decoy 1 is useless to me, because having a perk I'm not going to use feels better than the sanity drain I get with being nice. Nice inclination already encourages you to spend more souls to use the perks, while Naughtyness encourages you to hoard them as much as possible. Niceness is far more punishing on a fundamental level, separate from just the inclination stat changes and such. Even before the tweak they did that removed the health modifiers from inclinations, Naughtyness was better.

If nice inclination is going to focus on team based beneficial perks I absolutely think it should provide more healing and sanity on soul release. You can leave naughtyness alone. It's fine. Niceness doesn't even synergize with Soul Bastion's 2nd wave of healing.

Eating souls isn't the only way to lose sanity. The loss of sanity gain limits his options to clothing and less effective food.

(He has halved sanity auras, but I don't think it applies to equipment like shadow reaper.)

Eating souls is the most influential way to loose sanity as Wortox and is going to be responsible for your insanity more often than the passive loss you get from being around monsters in combat.

Except you're not going to be able to counter the accumulation of smaller loss by occasionally releasing souls.

You don't need to contemplate ever gathering sanity food without naughty.

I usually just ate meaty stews as Wortox, pre-beta. Or corn, if I'm playing with Wormwood. I usually am.

Once they added Tall Scotch eggs, I started adding those to the menu. Wortox can gather tallbird eggs, fast. It's the secret Wortox favorite food.

Nice now solves sanity for Wortox forever, it's a better bonus for me than the no pigmen attacks part. As long as you don't eat souls, you get tons of sanity from dropping them.

Hey, everyone else was begging for the trivial befriending thing. I just wanted the changes to sanity values completely removed from both traits and a competitively better perk given to Naughty to balance them out better, and/or a reduction to the difference in healing. If they switched it back right now and removed any changes to sanity gain/loss, I think it'd be fine with that, because we literally already rebalanced this and I don't really know why it was butchered again.

But yeah. Just use Meaty Stew at this point, and raw Honey and Lichen in the early game will probably get you by. If your teammates complain about your food consumption, tell them to make their own damn Pierogies and refuse healing. You can also just eat Souls anyway for early Nightmare Fuel, or mass farm a batch of Souls to heal your own sanity back up.

I love the overload thing, though. Wouldn't trade it away for anything else, 'cus it makes filling my 5 Soul Jars (yay...) much easier.
