Radicaljoe Posted December 2, 2024 Share Posted December 2, 2024 I like the interesting new ammos Walter has, and I'd like to propose some cool special abilities for a couple of the lackluster ammunitions. Stinger shot- a less powerful glass shot, ideally for more beginners that wouldn't make it to lunar, but since Walter is allergic to bees, seems like it would be more dangerous for an early player. I propose making the aoe larger, but replacing some of the aoe damage with the poison effect from SW, making them take damage overtime. Scrapshock- pretty simple ammo, mediocre damage against regular targets, big damage against wet targets. However, wetness is always a hard effect to use consistently. And scrap I like to use for group cc fights so the supplies are rather expensive. I suggest maybe having a magnetic effect instead of wetness damage modifier. Hitting an enemy will make them charged, hitting another enemy will also make them charged, then they will pull together. This would make AOE ammos more effective. Dreadstone ammo- couldn't think of anything creative, dreadstone is pretty expensive so hard to justify anything worthwhile without being overly busted. Best I had was an upgrade to cursed rounds, with a 75% chance to spawn a shadow tentacle. Maybe we can use it as an option to exchange expensive resources for high dps, increasing the damage to 150-200. kroban Posted December 2, 2024 Share Posted December 2, 2024 I think dreadstone making more damage the less sanity Walter has would be interesting and fits with the material, maybe hitting 68 at max sanity, but going for like 90 or more if you are at 0.
