I really like how you obtain his spiders.

You can either go out in the wild and catch spiders and bring them to base like pokemon, which is very resource efficent, or you can use the biscuits which are balanced just right so catching them in the wild is never inferior.

I'd like more spiders to be added for him in the wild for his skilltree. Please dont add spider spawners as craftables, as this would remove this fun aspect.

I think another thing they could do is add a skill that increases the amount of cookies you get per craft to make crafting them a bit more enticing.

No they shouldnt. They are fine the way they are.

Most people don't use the cookies because of the current trade off not feeling worth it outside of the nurse cookies because they only use honey.

Considering they even made graves craftable, it's unfortunately doubtful that they won't do the same for unique spider spawners.

The biscuits are kind of incredibly resource inefficient and i feel like i can barely think of anyone using them for anything other than like... last resort stuff or edge cases like the spitter or nurse cookies that are comparatively cheaper than the rest - they are very underpowered
