For example, if Walter loses 50 health points, he loses 50 sanity points. If Walter is wearing his scout hat, he receives 50% of the health damage. For example, if Walter loses 50 health points, he loses 25 sanity points. Close but no currently he takes double without the hat and equal with it so if he takes 50 damage he receives 100 sanity damage without the hat.
