Allow us to create our own Bionic Dupes!

Why cant we can convert our normal dupes into bionics?

Why isnt there either a station, or a high level medicine skill, allowing us to augment normal dupes into bionics!

I want to convert meep into mechameep!
Would also finally make having a medicine skill focused dupe actually useful.

This DLC could add SO much fun and high tier endgame to colonies by allowing us to augment existing dupes with bionics, but instead its all just premade via printing pod.

I agree, a lot of people call them raw overpowered, but in general they seem like a sidegrade, which is absolutely incredible and just what I wanted, a nice shakeup so you have something similar yet not quite the same. This kinda what I hoped would happen with the deep fryer being a sidegrade to gas range potential, but that did not happen, so if you want good food you have to go gas range, and mid food is provided by multiple other buildings sufficiently well, leaving the deep fryer pointless. Here though, the bionics are proper sidegrades to the organics, having unique traits that allows them to fulfill similar roles while still remaining unique from standard dupes.

I think turning a normal dupe into a bionic dupe might be a possible story trait. So far their is no hints of any new story trait in this DLC, in FP DLC beta we had an unfinished geopump, and we didnt get it until the official release. So their is a possibility that we might have a story trait that turns normal dupes into bionics.
