yuntunhemudu
Everyone has their own standards for strength, Klei and other silent players have no reason to pay for the understanding of strength by a few people. Taking a step back, it is entirely possible to set the difficulty and strength of characters according to one's own wishes when generating worlds (by increasing mods). What satisfies most people is adding more game content. If Wendy players complain that the skill tree is too thin. Add content to the skill tree(I heard that Klei is planning it). The same goes for Walter and Wortox' skill trees. Anyway, complete the skill tree. And then thinking about more biomes. WANZUN
Support, because it is impossible for players to play every character But thinking that it will take two years for the character to be redone, I suffocate! Mike23Ua
Here’s the thing about that, character reworks and character skill trees go hand in hand with new game content. Webbers Rework is an excellent example of that.. during his Rework the game got a new enemy mob for everyone who wasn’t Webber (the Nurse Spiders for Spider Queens) Webbers character was even FURTHER developed when the released the Water Logged DLC update which added a brand new location to explore and the Water Strider Spiders. What does any of that have to do with the current beta skill trees? Well nothing, I don’t guess… but Didn’t Klei not too long ago add Shipwrecks out at sea with restless ghostly spirits on them? That should DEFINITELY tie into Wendy’s skill tree somewhere. Perhaps it’s the “Sea Ghosts” that she obtains the exclusive ingredients to craft that dumb Floral Shroud from? Make people actually play the game and interact with the world around them rather then just idling for an hour or two and then unlocking skill points to be even more crazy powerful then you already were. Hollow soul 3
I think more enemy variety is always nice. Klei's been pretty consistent with this though. Many of the classic enemies we see were introduced to balance against overpowered strategies. layangan putus
Savannah Maybe one giant oak tree where the trader lives (fun fact: there is a chance that a beefalo you see is this guy) with river nearby where the herds gather. The man will teach you how to tame the beef and things related to beefalo stuff. Marsh This biome will be scary in spring due to giant mud crabs or crocodiles (big damage like tallbird) spawn from the flood & the tiles will greatly slow you down since it's hard to walk in marsh area and will increase your wetness over time. A small raft to navigate the marsh biome at this time would be lovely. (this may push players to get monkey tails for safer reeds farm) Antlion Desert Need hostile scorpions or cobras that poison you and reduce your max hp by 5 on hit (the poison is not damage over time type). The mobs may drop poison gland to coat your weapon for certain enemy (not boss) that has high hp pool, dangerous attack, medium window to hit against its big regen like it's almost impossible to kill this creature without reducing their max hp or it will just regen back. (players can use gunpowder tho or ganking it with group of players but one potato guy won't be able to kill this creature) In addition of that, there will be also a few quicksand formed in spring that players can use some tools to navigate the desert. The quicksand doesn't kill or anything since it just makes you stuck & you just need to move slowly away from the center to escape against its pull. Rockyland This mineral and ice theme biome now is a home for ice troll/yeti/children of deerclops/you name it. They are formidable foes so maybe don't provoke them. The biome is now always near with Frostjaw arena. Bee Queen Plain (highly experimental) Usually a bee hive is hanging from a tree, but hers is huge so need another giant tree which is also Her Majesty new arena be like "A giant tree with one hanging BQ hive at the middle of it, surrounded by many hanging red hives - these hives will also respawn overtime." The change can be worked together with BQ rework like for example her focus attack that makes bees surrounding the player from a far pierce toward the player. (surrounding bees act like bulbous lightbulbs and has similar pierce pattern with shadow shark attack; maybe start from one bee then several bees at the same time) Her new four phases after you drop the hive to the ground: BQ (stuck inside the hive): She can do slam attack (damages nearby enemies) and scream to shake the tree then several bees & several large pools of honey will drop (slowing players walking on top of it); BQ (still stuck): She will summon bees surrounding players then use focus attack outside the same slam and scream like 1st phase; BQ (she regains power to fly around): At the end of focus attack, she will dash piercing the players (surrounding bees will pierce faster); BQ (1v1 with Her Majesty): She now can occasionally parry your attack that knocking you back & deflecting your weapon far behind her (you can simply just equip another weapon and grab the dropped weapon later). She also sometimes pierce from far distance or use 3-combos piercing attack in close range before you have window to hit. She can also perform sting swipe if you attack her from behind. Every piercing including sting swipe attack will poison the players: 1 max hp loss from red bees, 5 max hp loss from bee armies, and 25 max hp loss from BQ attacks. (use booster to gain the max hp back then heal) The reward winning against Her Majesty is same stuff plus extra her sting for crafting a new weapon that can perform 180 degrees cone slash in front of you and deal 100 AOE damage. Now every character has chance to deal with group of mobs. Moonstone forest Players can now find the moonbase on an island far apart from mainland to break the loop of getting Iridescent Gem so players need to take more time before getting to the Archive. Since it's far and isolated, I am not sure if players will take advantage farming meats and pig skins during moon event. Mosaic This unnatural biome can permanently turn into colorful glasses biome with a trigger, the glasses can be farmed to make telescope to observe the sky because why not? Lava lake in the barren The Dragonfly nest is okay, can add magma spiders nests to fill the empty areas in the barren. Mandrake forest Bigger plain and spawn consistent 3 Walrus Camps since moonbase is relocated. Decidious Pig King forest Overall it's okay, can spawn interactable stack of falling leaves for player, Catcoon, and also pets at the end of autumn which also you can collect for fuel/compost/whatnot.
