Opinions on the shroud

I don't think Shroud is a good design. This is different from the main body of Wendy and Abigail fighting together. This will lead to a more profitable outcome of tying Abigail to a pillar than fighting alongside Wendy. This is something Wendy players don't want to see. I hope Abigail can allow Wendy to enjoy the benefits while fighting against the boss. This allows Wendy to enjoy the Abigail gain effect by consuming Abigail's health. Simultaneously reducing the impact of Abigail's own attacks. Everything is fine. But I think the focus should be on fighting together. Instead of seeing Abigail as a tool to withstand Wendy's injuries. (Customs clearance mechanical translation)

I already said this in my own thread, but having a command that makes Abigail protect Wendy, dashing in front of attacks to block them and deflect the damage to herself.

This would be a lot more true to Wendy's character, as Abigail would be blocking damage willingly, and would force Abigail to actually be present in combat.

This is quite a dramatic change but it would I think it would make this perk alot more usable and intuitive.

You didn't realize that the shroud was a failed design. Give a very simple example. As long as I put on the shroud and activate the urn skill. So all we need to do is tie Abby up. Bring 20 bottles of medicine and a ham stick by yourself. You can hold down the F key without worrying about anything. Not hungry, not cold, not overheated.

depending on if your head amour takes durability damage or if the shroud takes spoilage 'damage', could become busted the other way around.

I think it would be best if Abigail has less damage reduction but also uses less durability on Wendy’s head slot armor. Even something like 50% damage reduction would make Abigail equivalent to the player in most cases, which would help smooth out Wendy’s learning curve without making Abigail too tanky. In return, Wendy loses her body slot and goes through armor faster when Abigail gets hit (though again, I think this way it would be more fair if there wasn’t too much durability loss). Then the only consideration is if/how higher tier armors should affect Abigail.
