Here are some suggestions for Wendy's skill set

  1. I hope that "Vengeful Ghost" can be modified accordingly. This skill point seems interesting but not practical. I would like it to be connected to the potion skill line and changed so that Wendy can create a new potion called "Mourning Glory" to revive teammates.
  2. "Decorate Gravestone" should allow Wendy to use not only petals but also a certain amount of "Mourning Glory." After decoration, Wendy can use "Abigail's Flower" to summon spirits from the graves within a certain range (the spirits return to the gravestone after Wendy moves a certain distance away), and then use the abilities of "Abigail's Flower" to provoke and soothe to hire the spirits.
  3. "Dark Petals I" is also not very reasonable. The demonic petals that grow from the grave are sufficient for Wendy; there is no need to create additional demonic petals. However, I haven't thought of a good direction for improvement, and I look forward to suggestions from klei and other players.
  4. Wendy's various potions do not constitute multiple playstyles for Abigail. In most cases, players will only use one or two potions with high applicability. I think there could be a skill point that allows Abigail to be affected by two potions at the same time.
  5. "Lunar Allegiance III" sacrifices Abigail's area damage capability without bringing significant improvement. The slow attack speed prevents Abigail from continuously applying a buff that increases damage over time to enemies, and the damage dealt to enemies is also quite limited. I hope it can be appropriately improved.

The way I recommend balancing lunar Abby is:

- Abby turns into a gestalt on the day of a full moon while still attacking like normal (AOE, red glow, vexing, etc.). No moon dial required.

- During the day of the full moon, every attack fires off 5 gestalts (the kind that comes from the enlightened crown). This would lead to a dps of 252.5 (assuming all gestalts hit)

- Every day after until the new moon, Abby would fire off two gestalts every attack (a dps of 125 at night)

- On the day of the new moon, Abby would revert, spending the next ten days as a ghost with the standard nighttime dps of 40

This might need tweaked a bit, but I think that this would achieve similar DPS without confusing Abby's AI, having her waste an attack on a killer bee, or even worse, letting Wicker grief Wendy with Lunar Grimoire.

 

And if giving Abby the enlightened crown we might as well give her the bone armor for shadow alignment (especially as more planar AOE entities/bosses get added) so she doesn't get shredded. Because as it stands currently murdering something in your inventory is too slow and clunky with not nearly enough reward anyway.

- replace her shield with one that blocks all damage even the initial hit, with a longer cool down between shields

- make it interact with the shield potions for a quicker recharge rather than longer shield up time

- let her help with fighting shadow creatures (though she wouldn't cause them to teleport)

- maybe increase her attack range based on moon phase (biggest during the new moon default or even smaller during the full moon)
