With  a new dev post giving the initial plan of updates to the skill trees, here's a new post for updated opinions and a hopefully better structure.

To be clear, I am talking about the skill trees once all changes from the above post are implemented.

Don't forget, Wendy has the largest playerbase out of the 3 characters so it's much harder to keep everyone happy. 

Walter getting a slingshot buff is enough to make non-walter mains happy but it isn't enough for Walter mains like me who want unique abilities for Big woby.

Wortox as well needs his naughty/nice inclinations expanded and panflute skills reworked. Knapsack looks really ugly and is weird to use as a weapon (hitting people with a full sack on a stick is just straight up weird) I hope they rework/reskin it to resemble more of a weapon.

I kinda wish we had done these polls for previous skill trees, then we would've gotten an idea for how each measures up. I suspect you're partially right, and Wendy would be having similar numbers to wortox in the first poll (~35%) with popularity adjustment, but that's just specultion.

Thankfully, they've already confirmed the inclination and plan flute changes. A lot of visuals still need work - Gesalt Abigail and Abigail's Dodge command also look really off.

Yeah, even Wendy I think most of her existing skills are/will be fine. I think I'd just like to see some buffs to the  Pipspook (Being able to spawn pipspook), team spirit (making commands quicker) and Gravestone lines (repairing touchstones), along with either a 3rd tier for dark petals or a new line to buff up her skill count.

Even then, while she could be better, as long as the team spirit Line is suitably buffed, I think I'll be happy with the end result of her skill tree.

But the skill tree adds some useless things... You know, like petals and damage caused after death

That shroud isn't actually a very good design. It seems strong, but the design is too straightforward, which always makes it feel awkward

And I've noticed that the skill tree have been very few when it comes to improving the quality of life for Wendy. For example, Willow can ignite small fireballs, and Woody can craft helmets and staffs

I dare say that many people have already gotten used to playing as Wendy and consider her a combat character
This skill tree is like a pair of ill-fitting shoes
We all want to make her more fun to play in combat, rather than making her gameplay more casual
Although her character design doesn't seem very strong, so many players choose her, I think she has a reason to become a bit stronger
After all, if our favorite character is weaker than others, we might have to choose a character we don't like as much
