Am I Training Woby Wrong?

It seems all the skills except fetch take forever to master, am I missing an item or interaction?
 

After 1 day of fetch training, I got about a quarter of the mastery. but Digging was only 3%. Do I need to dig with Woby using a shovel or something to show her what to do like Fetch?

You are doing everything right. Dig and fetch are passive abilities you have no control over... so pretty terrible skills atm.

Yes and no. The fetching skill can be influenced by dropping many single of a stackable items, once they are all scattered grab one and drop them continuously, this will trigger wobby to seek that same item that may be laying around (maybe sure she has space in her inventory as the item she collects goes there), underwhelming skill as from my testing even at max she will collect by herself a maximum of 1 item until you pick that same item again and the range for collection is small, the higher the % the higher the frequency. The dig is on a internal timer, on low training % she will dig one time each 3 days. At max she will dig one time each day also if you have it at 100% even with tier 1 and 2 badges selected her dig chance success is still not 100%
