woxd Posted November 22, 2024 Share Posted November 22, 2024 So, I spent hours testing to find out what this mechanic was like and I managed to find out that the Bravery and Support perks increase by tanking hits in Woby, agility simply increases by walking in Woby, and the others increase while Woby is small In the attempt to raise Bravery and Support's perk I've noticed that it's INCREDIBLY slow, I'm not lying when I say that I tank a deerclops in woby using 13 wooden armors, all so that in the end just to improve 9%, in a normal survival it would be TOTALLY impossible to have 100% all the abilities of woby (I want to think this is a bug and it will be fixed) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/160908-woby-training-needs-to-be-fixed/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
Mike23Ua Posted November 22, 2024 Share Posted November 22, 2024 I can’t play in betas and I don’t really care at all what Klei does with the slingshot, what I would love though is details on what the “Woby” skill tree does. I had a few suggestions for that, such as allowing small Woby to “Bark” drawing the attention of things like Hounds away from Walter. I don’t really like Walter as a character too much, but he does have his own permanent Chester/Beefalo and a lot of fun unique gameplay mechanics could be designed around that. Maybe large Woby when standing still for too long can passively start scratching fleas with provides Walter with Beefalo furs? Idk just a very “dog-like” suggestion. Wobys skills are very straightfoward and simple: She can be trained in 6 different areas Agility makes her move faster Bravery makes her take more damage. Before bucking Support makes walter take less sanity damage if hit while riding woby Digging causes woby to (on a cooldown) randomly dig up valuables (no clue on the drop table) And fetch has woby grabbing random stuff for you. The skills get better as the training bar fills up They're functional if a little underwhelming.
