Beetrice Posted November 22, 2024 Share Posted November 22, 2024 Obviously, the naughty side of Wortox's skill tree is underwhelming. It could be patched up easily, though: 1. Knabsack gets a damage increase from backpacks, piggybacks and krampus sacks. 2. Knabsack only needs up to 2 filled soul jars for its full damage bonus from them. 3. Soul jars can be configured to drop souls at a faster rate, which heal as if Wortox dropped them (this makes it a good parallel to the twintail heart). 4. Lunar affinity just makes the soul echo timer block incoming damage, which expires it. 5. Shadow affinity just makes your next hit deal 1.25x damage, which expires the soul echo timer. None of this "Ohh, wear this armor set or use this weapon" stuff. 6. Lifebringer II makes players respawn with full health, excluding the lowered maximum health, instead of an unnecessary sanity gain buff. 7. Soul Decoys take exactly two hits before dying. With Soul Decoy II, they instead take three hits. 8. Soul Pierce just does half of your current melee's damage, at minimum 15, and excluding planar damage. This is a lot simpler than the Knabsack specifically buffing it. 9. Soul Decoy has a ghostly red appearance, to make it more distinguished from the real Wortox. 10. Soul Decoy III does 50 flat damage, not buffed by the Knabsack. The naughty path is too focused on the Knabsack, which tunnel visions it to attempt and fail to be an all in one weapon. It also forces Wortox down a more one dimensional playstyle, since all he is meant to ever rely on is this special weapon he gets.
