Walter feels significantly better with Attack-Speed :)

An Attack Speed buff is pretty much the only thing I needed to like Walter. You can kite stuff so much easier, it's still probably less DPS then melee-whatever but it feels significantly less clunky and funner to use. I feel like you could honestly get away with buffing the base attack speed of the Slingshot too, then have the upgrades be even faster. But that's me being greedy (would really like it though!)


I also remember discussing an idea awhile ago (when I existed on the Discord and wasn't an asocial freak) about "Glass Rounds" that would shatter for AoE, cool to see an iteration of that actually end up in the game. I'm reasonably happy with the direction the Slingshot stuff is going in, generally I enjoy characters who get upgrades through exploration/progression, compared to characters who plateau early. Just needs the usual refinement crap and all the other whatever-ing that a beta offers. Woby should explode.

If this is true that's actually goated as hell. I don't even think the Slingshot needs to be on par with melee options for people to actually want to use it (outside of optimized strategies n all that crap), it just needs to not feel bad to shoot.
