Can we get a way to farm dark petals that doesn't require dead player? Steeped Lunar Essence update?

I wanted to make some stuff from the halloween event's mad science machine. 

Crows will land on certain turfs so you can farm them consistently but best way to get evil flowers/petals might be catching plenty of butterflies, planting then plucking them, dropping the stack of petals and letting a ghost player haunt it. If you're solo that requires you to use effigy + booster shot or life giving amulet.

I think those potions are cooler than bundling wraps when it comes to not spoiling food for HP or Sanity, shame it's only on haloween. I like how it gives red mushrooms some good use compared to other mushrooms.
The lunar potion lets you have the rotten egg laying bird early game what is super cool if you like using gunpowder. Also it lets wormwood get lightbugs from his perk without need to find grotto, would be cool if it worked on mushrooms too.

So lore wise it's nightmarefuel can turn them? Would be cool if there was a way to use it to transform them as ghost do but it would be OP if one could transform whole stack I guess since 4 dark petals can be turned into 1 fuel.

Bees without a home can make new evil flowers when pollinating them, they choose 1 out of the 6 flowers they pollinated to produce one. Guaranteeing it to be an evil one if all 6 pollinated ones were evil of course. It's a bit obscure but it's there.

The lack of full moons causing flowers to turn evil if definitely didn't leave many standard methods to obtain them though, yeah.

they have a range so if you plant+haunt a small patch of close-by flowers a stack of unhoused bees can make a while field in good time
