BerserkGriffon
Hello! So, I will try to explain my problem as good as I can. I'm newish to the game, 130h, and doing my best to get to the midgame, so it's my first time using a transformer and a solar panel. The issue is: Even though my batteries are full, my "electronics" are always switching on and off without a reason and randomly. Also, they are smart batteries but the smart part is only connected to the power wheels. I'm trying some things but nothing looks good. I hope the image helps. Thank you for your time <3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159468-help-i-need-help-with-a-power-issue/ Share on other sites
Charletrom
Looks like you might have too much load on that small transformer. Since you are using heavy-watt wire on the consumer side (don’t) you might be able to just swap in a large transformer and be ok, for now. Longer term you will need to use multiple transformers to spread the power draw Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159468-help-i-need-help-with-a-power-issue/#findComment-1745476 Share on other sites

asurendra
Transformer is designed to cut power usage more than its maximum (1kw for small transformer). Thats helps to prevent wires overload damage. But you need to plan your usage. If you have a lot of buildings which works rarely (like water pump for electrolyzer which works 1 second and than wait 9) you can connect more than 1kw, it will be fine. But for building with long active use you need to dedicated power line with its own transformer By the way, you have regular bridge connected to heavy wat wire. It will overload. BerserkGriffon
Thank you! Just changed the bridge as soon as it broke. I'm trying to get the super sustainable achievement so i'm not good with using others types of power.
