loonreaper Posted August 29, 2024 Share Posted August 29, 2024 Okay I need help. In preparation for the upcoming shadow saddle I've been playing Wendy again. I have a fully tamed ornery war beefalo and currently carrying the bell. I'm also playing on the Switch. When I fight dragonfly and the beefalo is nearing low health I use the panflute to put dragonfly to sleep. The problem is, the beefalo walks away from me and it's impossible to feed it 1 let alone 8-10 consecutive blue mushrooms to heal it. I've tried getting its obedience to max and its hunger to max before the fight starts. Turning target locking on. Even trying to run infront of it in order to stop him for a few seconds but no luck. What I suggest is having the ability to feed the beefalo by first dismounting it and hovering the food over the Bell, the same way you can give Abbigail certain potions by hovering the potion over her flower. toshio.umeda Posted October 31, 2024 Share Posted October 31, 2024 It would really be a good idea to think about improving gameplay for consoles… There are so many good suggestions from us players, but it feels like they don’t listen to us… Maxwell could have a button to cancel his shadows… Beefalo should stop running away from us when we’re trying to feed them; I use them a lot and totally get it… The Lazy Explorer is a great example of untapped potential… just like using a mouse… If you’re using The Lazy Explorer, other staffs… or items already in use, you can’t mount the Beefalo because it triggers the ability instead… it’s frustrating, I have to constantly switch to some other equipment… PC doesn’t have this issue… On PC, you can use staffs while on Beefalo… and many other things… Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159415-its-super-hard-to-feed-a-tame-beefalo-healing-items-in-the-middle-of-a-fight/#findComment-1755475 Share on other sites More sharing options...
