SecretFinder
Hi everyone! I’ve made a mod for Rotwood and wanted to share it with you all. Here’s what it includes: A mostly functional new location (currently only accessible via the debug menu). Some new quips for game-over screens during hunts. An attempt to restore a few removed weapons (one is fully functional, the other is functional but invisible). Now, a warning. Rotwood doesn't support modding yet and I'm not a very good modder. I'd advise you to NOT skip step 9 in the installation guide. How to install the mod: Open your Steam library and find Rotwood. Right-click on it, select “Properties,” then go to “Local Files” and click “View Files.” You should see two folders and two zip archives. Don't touch the folders. Copy the two zip archives to a separate directory. Delete the original data_scripts.zip and replace it with the data_scripts.zip attached to this post in the Rotwood directory. Open the data.zip archive. Go to the anim folder Open the weapons.zip archive attached to this post. Copy the folders from weapons.zip into data.zip. Backup your save files in case something goes wrong. On Windows, they’re typically found at C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Roaming\Klei. Copy the Rotwood folder to a different directory. How to play: Run Rotwood. Load your save file. Press shift + ` Select "start playing", then "start run" and select "test_tundra" Play. Known issues: Loot rooms crash the game. Workaround: if the loot room is your only choice you have to open the debug console (shift + `), and use the command d_unlockroom() The boss doesn't spawn on the last room. You need to spawn the boss via the debug console. Open it as mentioned above and use the command c_spawn("sedament") The things that give you stuff for exploration levels crash the game when you interact with them. Just don't interact. data_scripts.zip weapons.zip Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159409-my-rotwood-mod/ Share on other sites
GodIess
There is an unofficial downloader of mods, maybe it is worth doing a full-fledged modification? LXJlin
There is an unofficial mod loading method, which can load your modifications instead of the whole. zip. You can try it. —————————————————————————————————————————————————————— 有一个非官方的mod载入方式,可以通过这个方法加载您的修改,而不是整个.zip,可以试试。 https://github.com/zgibberish/rotwood-mods/blob/main/docs/loading_mods.md Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/159409-my-rotwood-mod/#findComment-1751603 Share on other sites
