New Beef Items are so good?

I don't really care about damage or speed i just care that either the saddle or the new bell makes the poops the beefs makes dissapear in a shadow poof

The new saddle also allows you to remount them even if the beef  is agroed with a boss/mob. so it's a game changer, since klei nowadays adds knockback  to anything and everything

iirc war saddle/battle saddle allow for this too, but it's really nice regardless.

i'm thinking about when it could be considered as a shadow level for waxwell.

And it seems very like nightmare throne in DS adventure mode, hope waxwell could get some special feeling for it.

Both wilson and maxwell , get flashbacks from the nightmare throne and nboth hate it lol.

also , iirc it doesn't count for nightmare power for maxwell since it's not something you're wearing /carrying

The new saddle might make default tendency relevant. You cross 50 damage with the saddle, it is slightly faster than a regular saddle (war saddle is slow), you can always remount the beefalo during combat (as opposed to ornery because of obedience), and you don’t have to feed the beast before mounting.

Obvious drawbacks are that it is slower than rider tendency and harder to tame.

Happily I’m taming a new beefalo right now since the previous one died to herd mentality + rift frog rain.
