Rabbit Changes: Suggestion(s)

Recommended Posts

With the new Rabbit King which is pretty cool, I was excited for a way to transplant Rabbit Burrows like you (kind of) can with Moleworms. Could Rabbits either be able to "Plant" them similar to Butterflies to spawn a burrow, or alternatively, let rabbits make a new burrow if their home one is gone.

While rabbits are renewable via the Cave Earthquakes, the only way to get new burrows is to rely solely on World Regrowth, which I don't use. Other seemingly non-renewable natural things like Bee Hives which are important to collecting bees is renewable via the Bee Queen Crown when deconstructed. Killer Bees are not renewable though but their loot (stingers) is. Having Rabbits be able to be transplanted similar to Moleworms could be a neat addition to the game to allow an alternative morsel based diet or Maxwell nightmare fuel farm or other uses for rabbits.

Just a suggested idea as Rabbits are very difficult to renew, requiring caves while Moleworms can be gathered semi-frequently from Catcoons to allow an additional burrow.

It would be interesting if when we put a rabbit in the hole created by the king's horn it became a rabbit hole as we know it, which respawns and works normally etc

Come to think of it, this would also be a buff to Maxwell, could he stop doing this? It's getting on my nerves.
