What if there was a chess board you could make with 1 board and 2 marble, and you can make chess piece sculptures that are taken into the chess board with shadow or lunar magic shrinking the chess pieces and putting them on the board, moon glass for lunar, cut stone for shadow, and marble pawns for unaligned survivors. Once fully assembled you can play chess with another player. But if you give 1 pure brilliance and 1 pure horror after fully assembling it then turn it on, that chess board will then show the state of the constant and will show the shadows and the moon playing chess. For example, if moonstorm are on, it will show lunar storm clouds with lightning above the moon’s side, if rifts are on, it will add new pieces and power which ever side has rifts active, if Charlie reconstructs the ancient gateway, it will show them watching over the shadow side, and maybe during moonstorm full moons same with alter. That’s enough examples, but it will show the state of the constant in both the caves and overworld.

An idea I came up with is the ability to modify the chess board with wagstaff or Charlie by giving them an activated chess board which in return they will give you a rose styled chess board or a scrap styled chess board which is basically just a signed version of the chessboard from wagstaff and Charlie. You can give wagstaff it after cc and maybe Charlie can appear multiple times after you’ve given her the dreadstone and fought the ancient fuelweaver again.

I wouldn't even mind if it was simply cosmetic without showing anything or without chess-playing ability but this addition of it showing the state of the world and playing chess would probably be a reason why more people would want to assemble it x)
