Nektaev
Do you want skins for mobs? For example, for pigs, hares and merms. It would be cool if skins for mobs were tied to skins for huts. We have Gothic houses, but we don't have Gothic pigs. We have overgrown huts, but no overgrown merms. For merms, skins can be taken based on the similarity of Wurt skins. For example, abyssal merm. Dr.Webber
I love this idea for character Pacific followers. It should also change based off of the skin of the character. They’re following also I’d love to see a triumphant/Moonbound decorated den I also made a few of my skin ideas into their own mobs for Webber’s alignments: Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/158892-skins-for-mobs-idea/#findComment-1739497 Share on other sites
NPCMaxwell
One could easily use skins to bring some Hamlet/Shipwrecked creatures who share a similar build / animations as some standard creatures into DST even when just cosmetically. Also your idea of the inhabitants following the huts skins aesthetics would be bringing some diversity, enabling people to use the skin changing tool (that cleaning brush thingy) to build a customized pig / merm village with unique inhabitants. Plus including the spiders with decorated dens to adjust too would also be funny. (not sure lf I would buy any of those skins [unlikely because I prefer playing with the standard stuff] but I like the idea of it being avaible for other people's worlds) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/158892-skins-for-mobs-idea/#findComment-1739525 Share on other sites
