This would prevent ghost players getting stuck in the ruins. I think of Wickerbottom as around 70 years old] so it would AT LEAST make sense to give her the same disadvantages Wanda has at old age [I think this is being unable to carry heavy stuff and being slower at working....at least that's the only two obvious ones I can think of.] So since Wickerbottom is unable to get younger and therefore "recover" from old age I fully support your idea for her being given the downside you suggested in your list.
