LizThatOneNun Posted July 13, 2024 Share Posted July 13, 2024 I am sorry if this is all over the place I made my forum account to make this post so formatting is not something I am strong with but I will try my best! One of the reasons I came up with this is because I have noticed a lot of people calling Wendy an easy noob character and the negative stigmatism upsets me as it creates rifts in the community, and I think this concept would be really interesting way to make her more skill expressive I have doubts that a dev or anyone will really see this but feedback is appreciated and I would love to hear other peoples ideas!! So here is the idea I had I was thinking of a mechanic for Wendy where she locks herself into an animation becoming immobile and taking more damage but making it so she has abigail follow the cursor/controlling her within a certain range and getting more damage or defense I will call it sisterly bond for now. I think having some sort of animation to get into this state and out of it is very important or else it would be very abusable and not really create a sense of skill expression and in fact be the opposite I know some people might be skeptical about how it would make Wendy more skill expressive so I will elaborate. Here is one thing that immediately came to mind it would add interesting things to think about such as where you position yourself before channeling sisterly bond when to channel it and many more factors I could get into but it is 5 am at the time of writing this.I feel like after reading that segment you understand why I think she should take more damage and why it should be an animation lock to add a risk reward factor to playing her. please leave any feed back and I am always open to discussion also pls dont make the obvious Wendy anchor joke they are not nice D:!
