Catapult 2.0
In the June 18 test suit modification, Winona's machine automatically syncs her skill tree levels, but only when Winona is near the machine. This means that other characters will still be able to enjoy Winona's pre-arranged enhanced machine effects, but Winona, who does not have the relevant enhanced effects skills, will only be able to enjoy the normal effects of the machine. An obvious example: Other characters can use spotlights that have been set up for a wide range of illumination, but when Winona, who does not have the power of the spotlights, is near, the scope of the lights immediately decreases. This effect involves more than half of Winona's abilities, including trebuchet attack Speed Enhancement, trebuchet range Enhancement, engine enhancement, and spotlight enhancement. This "bonus skill point" should be at least in line with the rest of the characters, either all of them or none of them. Here are some suggestions for how to deal with this: The machine does not resync skill levels when Winona is near her machine. This way, all characters can claim these extra skill points. When Winona is near the machine, the machine has the current Winona skill levels. As a result, all characters are not entitled to these bonus points. But that leaves the spotlight almost entirely out of reach for the other characters. The machine retains Winona's skill level every time she approaches, and this effect can be retained for a period of time. This is a better way to make it so that none of the characters can enjoy these extra points. Mike23Ua
??? Catapults used by anyone who isn’t Winona will always be the weakest version (not upgraded with any skill points) Spotlights placed by Winona will not change (so if they’ve been upgraded to heated versions they’ll stay as heated versions) This was a change made to prevent players from building skill point invested catapults as Winona & then switching to another character to still get the full benefits. Or so Winona could not Spec her skills, place structures, and re-spec her skills to get the entire effects available. That is why they must Sync with your current skill point investment. Any other character using the trebuchet and spotlight is an upgraded version, only Winona demotes her machine when she gets close. Look at this, the trebuchet Range Enhancement ability, when Winona hits this ability full, damage is sputtering to the dummy. It still works when replaced with Webber, but the effect is lost when replaced with Winona without this ability. 202407110931.mp4 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/158135-its-so-unfair-to-winona/#findComment-1734451 Share on other sites
