New deep frier is even worse

They removed deep fried steak which was the only recipe potentially worth making. Increased quality for shellfish tempura and fish tacos is nice, but there are no pacus in ceres and sandyshells are only sustainable with large scale ethanol production, at which point you can ranch slicksters and make surf and turf or just ranch oakshells for even more slicksters. Also did sleeth wheat really need more recipes?

Once again, squash fries require 3 different ingredients and are still only stardart quality. Now that Bammoth are nerfed I think plume squash is worse than nosh beans, which is saying something.

The deep frier just has no niche. It takes too much power for the early game, too many ingredients for the midgame, and outclassed by surf and turf at any stage of the game.

I don't know if I'm missing something, but as it is I don't see myself ever using this. If it can't compete with the gas range, join it. Add back deep fried steak and other deep frier recipes and add them as ingredients for new gas range recipes.

I don't know what you are refering to, I said that even though they consume more ethanol I think farming nosh beans is better than farming plume squash because you can make much better foods

New deep fryer recipes are due amongst balance changes for some of the existing recipes, as there's really no reason for the deep fryer to be on par with the electric grill with it needing two different ingredients on top of the tallow drop from seals. I'd say +3 should be the minimum quality any of its recipes should be, especially if each recipe takes tallow on top of everything else.

Stuff like egg rolls made from raw egg and nosh beans or lice croquet could definitely be added to the products but I agree that it could use some attention

deep fryer should require another skill tree to use, similiar how farm branches into ranching.

this way we have cooking 1 enables grill, cooking 2 enables oven, alt cooking 2 enables deep frier,

and maybe getting both of them unlocks the spice grinder or something, so we actually complete the long missing T3 skill for cooking.
