rose117 Posted July 3, 2024 Share Posted July 3, 2024 Wormwood is a great character, but his design seems a bit conservative when compared to others. The skill tree for Wormwood needs some adjustments, I believe. For example, the plants on the left side seem too casual; basic crops like saplings, berry bushes, and juicy berry bushes don't have much use, but if I need formulas for giant grass and flesh flowers, these are still required as prerequisites. Basic crops, I feel, should not require the skill tree to be crafted and could leave three skill points free for other formulas, such as adding useful banana trees, stone fruit bushes, palm seedlings, and even normal tree seeds. Boldly, one could also consider allowing plant people to transplant fluorescent fruits, cacti, and swamp reeds. The summonable objects from the Lunar Cult are quite useless, I hope the Carrot Rabbit can have another purpose. I don't really need it to help me gather resources, as I will do that myself by pressing the spacebar. Providing more seeds is always a good choice, but the issue with fireflies is their low health, which means they can't participate in any AoE boss battles. The previous change in lighting range isn't what I would consider a problem, but the limitation on the number of Salamander Calls is indeed a concern, as it only allows for two summons at a time, which doesn't help much. If I could call four or five Salamanders, that would be a great improvement. The talent points of these two areas are completely overshadowed by those of the middle and right, and the opening talents of Wormwood are basically locked in without any room for variation. I believe there should be more ideas and choices available. Finally, I hope that the first skill point of Wormwood, Seed Detector, can be used to soothe crops and reduce their stress, which is very reasonable and highlights the unique features of Wormwood. Right now, there are several roles that make farming convenient, and Wormwood shouldn't lose to other characters in its specialized field. 沃姆伍德是一个非常有趣的角色,不过现在看来他的设计和别人比有些保守了。 沃姆伍德的技能树我认为还需要些调整,比如左侧的几个植物制作过于敷衍,树苗、浆果丛、多汁浆果丛这种基础的作物没有什么用,但如果我需要点芦苇和食人花的配方这几个还是前置,基础的作物我感觉应该不需要技能树也能制作,把三个技能点空出来给其他的配方,比如说加入用处更大的香蕉丛、石果丛、棕榈树种子、完全正常的树种子,甚至大胆点可以让植物人能够移植荧光果、仙人掌和沼泽芦苇(我承认这有些过于大胆了)。 左上的月亮阵营召唤物也很不好用,希望胡萝卜鼠能有别的用处,我并不需要它来帮我拾取我自己会按空格键,提供更多的种子是不错的选择,萤光虫的问题是血量太少,基本不能参加任何有AOE的BOSS战,之前改动的照明范围其实不在痛点,沙拉蝾螈的问题是召唤上限只有两个,基本帮不上什么忙如果能召唤4-5个会是不错的提升。 这两块区域的天赋点完全竞争不过中间和右侧的天赋,沃姆伍德的开荒天赋点基本已经锁死没有任何变动,我认为唯一的答案并不是一个好答案,应该有更多的思路和选择。 最后我希望沃姆伍德第一个技能点种子侦探可以让沃姆伍德安抚作物,减少作物的压力,这非常合理也突出了沃姆伍德的特点,现在种田方便的角色也不止沃姆伍德,他不应该在擅长的领域输给其他角色(就是说现在的鱼人) Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/157845-about-some-suggestions-for-wormwood/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

I suggested in another post that they act as Farming Buddies, that Water and Fertilize your crops when given a Watering Can and Rot/Manure respectively. Other than that, I think Wormwood’s main problem comes from that some of his skills are misleading and sometimes are a complete waste of insight. Bee Kind and Photosynthesis are the main culprits here, and I’d make an argument for Lureplant Crafting as well. Other than that, Wormwood is really fun.
