Eliaslorenz
To start things off, I've been seeing people talk about using sublim stations on other materials and I think the best solution to that is to make sublim station use recipes. This would mean anything that can sublimate (slime, pdirt, oxylite, bleach stone, and maybe even polluted water) could be put into it by dupes without it requesting everything that can sublimate and burning through all of your supplies. Next, I'd like to see the space heater get it's power cost reduced to 60 watts. Making it a warming station has helped it out but 120 watts still feels a little pricy for it. I also think dupes with frost immunity should still use them to dry their feet, regardless of the fact they won't benefit in other ways from it. Frost immunity feels like more of a downside than an upside because of the stress my dupes with it ended up having without even cranking difficulty at all. Pikeapples should deal 2-3 damage to dupes on 1000kcal consumed (kcal count potentially scaling with difficulty if possible) to encourage moving away from it as an early food source since it's currently so much more efficient than every other plant and doesn't rot. This would also give doctoring dupes a spotlight early game by enabling them to heal dupes. Ice should be crushable in the rock crusher to make snow, along with a small bit of crushed ice byproduct (80% snow 20% crushed ice). Crushed ice should be usable in a recreational building to make snowcones since currently it's kind of useless beyond melting for water. Floxes taking up 12 tiles in a ranch is kind of absurd and I'd lower that to 8 or 6. The crafting station should be able to create a new set of winter gear that takes up the mask/suit slot on duplicants but grants huge cold resistance buffs, allowing dupes to withstand things like cold scalding without having to get atmo suits. They would have durability and still need to be repaired. I'm thinking it would be a hat and parka or something, which would count as one item rather than two since it would be a "suit". Wood put in the wood burner should make small amounts of coal, making refined carbon and coal both renewable on ceres. This is mostly important for base game but would help early game spaced out as well. I've said this in another post but I'll say it here anyway: bammoths should eat 5-10x as much as they currently do with no change to their excretion amount (leaving it at 1300%). I like bammoths but they're far too free for their meat count and in order to keep their fewer is better design in tact, they need to eat more/produce more bammoth patty. Bonbon gourds should have their seeds removed from meteors and instead allow them to reproduce in a different way. I have an idea as to what this different way could be: during a meteor shower, any bonbon gourd exposed to space with sky visibility will move their branches above them to form a shield, blocking and destroying any meteor that hits them. When a meteor is destroyed by them, they can not form tiles but will still drop half of their mass (meteors that already drop debris are unchanged). They take on the temperature of any meteor blocked and when it's over, all of their branches die and for every branch that dies they have a chance to drop a seed. They also gain a small branch growth speed buff depending on meteor difficulty so they will be ready before the next one but not ready fast enough to produce a ton of nectar. This would be an interesting use case for them on other asteroids as well because they would be able to defend against all meteors, and it would be fair I believe since you would have to still actively cool them and couldn't as easily have things like rockets under them without fertilizing them manually for 100kg of snow a cycle each since wild planted ones wouldn't work with doors. Finally, building minimum temp for mercury should be removed entirely like with ice buildings because having mercury instantly melt when using it in buildings is kind of bad. It's genuinely unusable like this. Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/157654-gameplay-change-wishlist/ Share on other sites
