adminaaassh Posted June 24, 2024 Share Posted June 24, 2024 While playing on the test server, I discovered some issues. I’m not sure if all of them are bugs, so I recorded a video to explain them. 1. Some actions performed with the Shoddy Tool lack corresponding animations, and some animations displayed are quite odd. 2. Woodie can use the Shoddy Tool to cut trees, just like with the Pick/Axe (I hope this feature won’t be changed, as it’s quite fun. I'm not sure if the Shoddy Tool benefits from Woodie’s tree-cutting speed bonus, although the cutting speed in the video seems quite fast). 3. The Swamp Brawler Helmet and Swamp Warrior Helmet sometimes look very strange when worn (for example, when worn by a Mannequin or Cave Spider, although I know many headgear items have similar issues, the small size of these helmets’ textures makes it particularly noticeable). 4. The Marotter lacks a freezing effect (the Marotter can be frozen). 5. Using a Moon Shard to mutate a Merm into a Mutated Merm will give the Mutated Merm Guard permanent loyalty, but if you hire other Merms with a Moon Shard, this permanent hire status will disappear, and the new hire duration will override the permanent loyalty status (this applies to Mutated Merm Guards as well). 7. It is currently impossible to rehire Shadow Merm or Shadow Merm Guard by any means (after you die, you cannot hire Shadow Merm or Shadow Merm Guard again by any method, and new fishermen will not spawn from Merm Flort-ifications or Craftsmerm Houses; this was pointed out by people in the group). 8. The Gather Merm function of the Communal Kelp Dish will be triggered when a character dies, and it will continue until all the Kelp Fronds are used up. 9. When we use the Mudslinger, Marsh tiles will not appear on bare ground, but Merms within the area will still receive an attack bonus. 10. Nightberry or Cooked Nightberry cannot be used to hire or feed any creatures, but when dropped on the ground, it will attract Pig Men to eat it and will be eaten by fish in the water. 11. Geode Fruit sinks when thrown into the water (this seems intentional, although other gems float in the water). 12.When Merm is in a permanent employment state, it still shows the hungry action (which also indicates that the employment time is almost over). All types of Merms affected by Moon Shard can sometimes remain in a dazed state indefinitely when hypnotized by Bearger during spring or winter. In the bearger video did you have the sensible swamp fighter skill? I imagine not but the behavior looks to be what happens when you do. I imagine not but the behavior looks to be what happens when you do. You're right, I didn't realize this issue. I overlooked the fact that I used this skill, and Merm stood still because of it. I found Failed Survivors with Sea Fishing Rods underground, which doesn't seem reasonable since there is no ocean underground. Although this is unrelated to the recent test update, I thought it was worth mentioning . adminaaassh Posted June 25, 2024 Author Share Posted June 25, 2024 13.Geode Fruit cannot hire Rock Lobster, and dropping it on the ground does not attract Rock Lobster, Slurtle, or Snurtle. (I think this is somewhat unreasonable for a mineral, considering that heating Geode Fruit yields various gems.)
