Having ugly patches of diamonds on my world isin't very appealing. EDIT: nvm lol, ignore this post. Mike23Ua Posted June 17, 2024 Share Posted June 17, 2024 Rifts destroy whatever they spawn on top of (trees mostly) because the game has to clear that area out so that the mobs and resources that spawn from the rift can generate into your world properly. But this is not the first time the game has done this, if you trade a championship belt to the Pig King and you have structures or other things too close to him it’ll tell you “the battle arena needs to be cleared first” once the area is empty, the enemies can spawn. Same thing with placing down a Year of The Bunnyman Pillow Fighting Sumo Circle, it won’t let you place it unless the AoP (Area of Play) is clear first. “Turf” however, only changes temporarily.
