Cuernito. Posted June 16, 2024 Share Posted June 16, 2024 First i have to say Thank you so much klei for all the changes and fixes in the last patch!!!, now winona feels so much better to play :D. Now, after testing a lot all these perks has to offer i have to say that, they are both full of nonsense stuff and im gonna try to put all the inconsistencies into this post, so lets go. Shadow seeker: I think we all can agree that shadow seeker is a lot better than founder's keepers during early game however a lot of the interesting stuff doesnt work in caves, which is really weird, remember that Charlie is the queen of the constant and she is present all over the world, but she is supposed to be stronger inside caves and for some reason all she has to offer inside caves is some shadow fuel and pure horror from time to time. This is really weird and feels bad, the shadow seeker perks dont really offer anything inside caves which is a big nonsense considering that Charlie can appears personally after killing AF. In my opinion shadow seeker perks need to improve while inside caves. Founder's keepers: My only and biggest issue with this perks is that inspectacles works in caves!! lmao, now, i dont know if this is intended or not but for now you can get wagstaff loot boxes inside caves, this doesnt make any sense cause wagstaff is supposed to be in the surface looking for moon power, why the frik are loot boxes there? this is too much of a nonsense stuff. If the point of these 4 perks is to give something to winona related to both Charlie and Wagstaff using the lore behind these 3 then at least i want something consistent. The changes i propose: Shadow seeker: while in caves winona can use the glasses to.- examining an edge can make a bridge of vines to cross(the bridges mod exist and works fine so i know this is possible) examining a big tentacle can give one shadow fuel only if that tentacle leads to atrium(i know that asking for make the big tentacles work like wormholes in the surface is too much for a perk), this is to help localizing the heart of the ruins since you know this perk is called SHADOW SEEKER! XD. examining something really shadow infused like the ancient gateway, nightmare werepig defeated, guardian big chest can give a shadow infused rose, this new dangerous rose makes all shadow creatures neutral towards Nona.(i think the fragile rose shouldnt be allowed to be in caves, it should be this dangerous rose instead and only if you accomplish something impressive like killing a nightmare cave boss or if you find the ancient gateway). The dangerous rose disappears of the inventory is you go outside caves.(lost its power), and the fragile rose disappears of you go inside caves. Founder's keepers: Just dont let the inspectacles work in caves, this alone can makes the players feel more inmersive cause wagstaff only appears in the surface, theres no reason to get loot boxes here. And thats it, i hope some of these big nonsense stuff get changed soon cause they actually feel weird if you know a little about the lore of winona, wagstaff and charlie. Soul7k Posted June 16, 2024 Share Posted June 16, 2024 actually you might be spot on with letting the tentacles work like the wormholes since you need have discovered the wormholes you want to teleport to anyways. Being able to manipulate all the tentacle holes you have seen wouldn't be too over the top.
