Mosquitos vs Ruins

I did a test run. I died because i only brung 40 mosquitos, and only had those mosquitos for heals which was dumb. They were useful so here is my analysis:

  • Good for distracting.
  • Good for monkeys.
  • Inconsistent heals. I once killed 16 in my inventory and got only 4 sacks (they have a higher chance of giving sacks when killed in inventorys)
  • Pick them back up after you use them. Try make them not die from exploding so kill fast.
  • Them stacking to only 20 is a problem.

It's not too bad if they explode on enemies since it deals 34 damage in a aoe which makes quick work of hordes.

This is probably a good balancer since you gain a net positive from skeeter bombs putting 4 in and getting 6 back.

That being said I haven't tried them against the ruins yet but I have tried them against bosses they perform quite well.

I would probably have done better, or even won if i got the water health regeneration instead of the defense one.

 

I realise the reason you would choose the health regen over the defense one now after experiencing the ruins.

Ruins is probably the best place to test everything since it is a combat focused survival scenario.
