CreatorEXM
The online NAT forwarding service provided by klei in the Chinese mainland region is catastrophically bad, with extremely high latency and poor stability making it difficult to play games. Therefore, Chinese players often need to rent a VPS with a public IP or use FRP to improve network performance. For FRP, because the dst decicated serverĀ does not support custom IP functionality, players can only use the" c_connect" command to connect to the forwarding server, which poses a problem for servers that want to target non-specific player groups. It is hoped that the ability to add custom domain names/IPs can be added to solve this problem. Here, domain/IPs refer to the domain/IPs that players will connect to when they click to join a room in the multiplayer game hall. It is hoped that this modification can be opened up so that players can customize the forwarding server and no longer need to inform others outside the game. Currently, there are some methods for players to configure to temporarily solve this problem. This method involves establishing a third-party public IP detection service, and after configuring the FRP server address on the provider's webpage, using the host modification method on the game server to specify the lobbv2.klei.com to the third-party service's IP. This method is very cumbersome, and the third-party service is not stable. It is hoped that klei can improve this situation as soon as possible.
