Is anyone else getting frame rate dips but only in the archives?

I have this weird issue that happens only when i visit the archives now, where if I am walking about through it my frames drop from 60 to 30 or below. Which is really odd, since when I start hitting walls or sentry-husk it shoots back up to 60 again. It's a very very strange interaction I have with it now. 

It's been happening for a while now, but since I only ever visit the place once, I didn't think much of it. Should changes to the game or additions occur in the future to the archives I do not want to have this strange issue still occurring in the event we are given a reason to return to it.
