The wurt skilltree is... Just as bad as we thought.

Recommended Posts

Literally over half of the skills are completely worthless. This is such a huge disappointment. Like, A mild sanity gain when at over 90% wetness isn't gonna help anyone. And with wurt having 250. HP, a skill that let's her dodge a few attacks when at max wetness isn't gonna do anything either. And merms respawning faster? Come on. They already spawn extremely fast. And even the lumberjack merm skill needs to be buffed, so they work more similarly to Maxwell's tree choppers. The wurt skills definitely need to be changed, because very little of them actually help her.

I'm not entirely sure why people are so negative about it.
The "wetness" half of the skilltree, if fully "spec'd" into makes you an incredibly bulky little fishtank (giggity) when it rains.
Is being able to facetank bosses during Spring worth the 7 points investment? Well, it might be for some people.
I'm probably picking up the "rain no longer makes you freeze" thing (plus some sanity) for 3 points, though.

As for the other half - well, I've heard people say that it "doesn't fit", somehow.
How does it not fit?
For crying out loud - you get to buff your merms (and yourself) by fetching the (increasingly hard to get) items to the big hungry fishman, who calls himself "king" for some reason (I didn't vote for him!). That's neat! I like it! you get stronger as game goes on!

As for faster spawning merms - well...
You can maybe make a more productive mermfarm for lots of free fish (for other players, obviously)?

Not every single skill is going to be "meta" is what I'm saying. You can only spend 15 points, so I don't really see the problem.
