RainBO_OM Posted June 7, 2024 Share Posted June 7, 2024 Since we are in ocean content era again and not much goes in this beta, I dare to ask crumbs for Wigfrid, like billionth time on forums Out of all characters, Wigfrid who has tons of quotes on sailing stuff, fits thematic the best as viking warrior to be... Has the least compatible with sailing abilities. Battlesongs - ocean enemies have very small attack windows, run away a lot, making battlesongs even more useless than they are Elding Spear - seriously, mobs who literally swim in water, aren't wet without rain? no place to dash too More inspiration using spears - doesn't work on Strident Trident, unsure how much it was buffed but there's no reason for passive not to work Beefalo - no explanation needed Battle Rond - it... exists I guess, waste a few shields to tank Malbatross when Willow kills it from safe range with stack of embers on topic of Malbatross, their theme is missing battlesong version for years Let her slowly gain inspiration for at least one battlesong when sailing, simple rowing power, ship building from start, or sea shanty song? Vikings are famous for their singing while sailing, how epic it can be Not to make character stronger in unused by everyone ocean content, but enjoyable and fun Just give her anything, please. Makes sense she can craft the spear and helmet, since she played as a viking in the theater a lot. You cannot sail in the theater, so she does not have experience. NPCMaxwell Posted June 7, 2024 Share Posted June 7, 2024 She may just have been an actress in her imagination, but since in the constant actually people and items to gain supernatural skills (transformation curses, magic spell books, balloon amor, actual mighty strength etc.) It would seem only realistically to me that a viking actress gains actual viking skills. Woodie already was transforming before entering the Constant. Mighty strength was given to Wolfgang when he was saving Maxwell irl, not in the Constant. But I guess Maxwell could have given her actual viking skills. I agree. But the point still stands, she may have aquired viking skills by magic (of the codex umbra then I suppose.)
