Will Don't Starve ever get 64-bit version like Don't Starve Together?

As the title says, will dont starve ever get the 64 bit version like DST? I see that it got tons of minor changes, improvements and bug fixes recently (2024), but will it get 64 bit? And if yes then when?

It would be very useful for a few reasons, first is that if you are playing for a longer period of time, and your world becomes huge (lots of changes, very high day count) then in some cases it can crash as the memory is limited to 4GB only. Other reason is that the game actually has worse performance than DST, for example if you have a basic mod like Minimap HUD, on vanilla DS or ROG you still have a good performance (near 60 fps), but on shipwrecked its close to 20-40 fps).

There are still people who play the original dont starve, I know from myself that I do play it and will play it even later, also new dlcs wouldnt hurt too, I would buy them.
