[I'm new to forums in general, I've only ever used The Long Dark's/Hinterland's forum, which is similar to Klei's, but I never used their forums too much ethier :,)] Anyways, heres my favorite boy, Wilson :] I read on the fandom wiki that Wilson was inspired by the "gentleman scientist", which is obvious, but it made me think of the "British gentleman" trope and now Wilson is a Border Collie [British dog breed + Border Collies are very smart dogs, which fits Wilson as well] Little design note: - most of his fur tufts come in groups of 3, especially on his face, this isn't necessarily required, but its supposed to reference his hairstyle in game! also I imagine instead of growing a beard, he just becomes 8x fluffier like this: Anyways enjoy these doodles and have a nice day <3 If you use my designs please send them to me, I'd love to see! 2 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/156525-my-catdog-dont-starve-art/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

[And Wigfrid] Heres some of Wes in an AU of mine, where he kinda takes over Wickerbottoms rule and becomes her apprentice of sorts after opening up to her about feeling like he never does enough compared to the other survivors, mostly he just learns how to heal others and mediate petty arguments when Wickerbottom can't or isn't around. It looks so cool I like the idea of Wes being a sidekick of sorts to Maxwell before he [Wes, not Maxwell] takes over the constant, and eventually overthrowing Maxwell as nightmare king because he feels he can do better for the constant, or that he can free the other survivors and help them escape the constant. Also if he was a villain I feel he'd ethier be like Flowey from Undertale in a way- a trickster who switches between being friendly and nice to crazed and scary on the fly, or be the extremely cold calculating type of villain. I feel he'd prefer to get others to do his work for him, mostly because of his low stats, and the affects of the nightmare throne making its current user/victim(?) weaker. [The loading screen text that sometimes appears for DST says Maxwells body was affected by the nightmare throne and made him have to rely on the Codex Umbra] I have a bunch of lil scenario-AU type thingys of "what if x survivor took over the constant" and for Wes I feel instead of appearing at night like Charlie, he'd appear when you have little to no sanity [probably what actually happens to James Bucket when he's low sanity lol] Anyways thanks for coming to my TEDtalk about my villain headcanons 2 minutes ago, olen helvetissa said: TRIUMPHANT WES! Thanks for letting me know about this by the power of cute fluffy wes. [ He still looks cute as a villain (even in non-fluffy form but fluffiness is it's own form of cuddly evil) ] Also now you make me think........what if Maxwell back in the days when he maybe was still /not tired/ of playing the "game" of being the nightmare thrown king, locked poor Wes inside the mime-prison to prevent him from taking over the throne? We don't know how long Wes was trapped, he could be 10 thousand years old and we'd never know... Also, does someone have to be physically on the thrown to have their stats lowered? What if this is why Wes's stats are so low? Plus I don't believe that Wes was there for a short amount of time, because he dies once he is saved, similar to Maxwell, though he doesn't turn to dust like Maxwell.
