Firecart Posted June 1, 2024 Share Posted June 1, 2024 Cholesterol Tolerance - Each duplicant has a different tolerance of Cholesterol, with some having very high tolerances while some have very low tolerances, with the corresponding traits. Each food type generally has more cholesterol the more morale it gives, although it doesn't necessarily mean all high-morale foods have high cholesterol. Cholesterol is measured per 1, 10, 100 or 1000 kcal. Lethal Allergies - If allergic duplicants get exposed to allergens repeatedly over some cycles, they will get a heart attack that can only be stopped by a duplicant with the proper doctoring skills (Advanced Medical Care). Biohazardous and germ-resistant traits affect the chances that this can happen to allergic dupes. Defibrillator - Has a chance to revive a duplicant that died by drowning or a heart attack, if they haven't been dead for over half a cycle. Reviving duplicants take priority over all doctoring tasks when possible. Can only be made in the crafting station, and can only be used by duplicants with the proper skills (...as mentioned). I hope we will see that in the near future, preferably based on difficulty settings. Currently, even on the highest germ/disease difficulty setting (outbreak-prone), there is not much of a change, and germs and diseases are usually ignored. No one takes germs/diseases seriously; as a consequence, chlorine vents are also disregarded. This suggestion was based off of the germ/disease rebalancing, and this suggestion is meant to give doctors more of a use (other than just, you know, standing around and taking up space) without germs.
