Fish Man King Posted May 19, 2024 Share Posted May 19, 2024 As a Wart player, I would like to use this character to play with my friends, but there are some issues with the character of Wart that make it difficult to play with others. On one hand, the Merfolk in the early stage will consume a lot of resources but cannot bring significant benefits to the teammates. On the other hand, too many Merfolk in the later stage will render the teammates useless and give them no sense of participation. To address the first issue, the extra food that the Merfolk offer to the Merfolk King beyond its saturation level will be stored and turned into favor points. By right-clicking on the Merfolk King, players can consume favor points to summon Merfolk. The employment time of the Merfolk is one or two days, and they will disappear after the time expires. This way, the Merfolk can help teammates in the early stage, speed up resource collection, and the temporary Merfolk (similar to Kung Fu Pig?) will prevent the original construction mechanism from being left unused. To address the second issue, can we limit the maximum number of Merfolk or reduce the benefits of having a large number of Merfolk? My idea is that the Merfolk houses built within three tiles of the Merfolk King will produce enhanced Merfolk, while those outside the three tiles will produce non-enhanced Merfolk, thus limiting the maximum number of Merfolk and the amount of resources consumed. Alternatively, we can use expensive facilities to limit the scale of Merfolk houses, such as a Merfolk employment machine that covers three tiles? We can compensate for the use of Merfolk in other skill points.
