Wortox skill tree ideas, Worked on half of the tree so far and open for idea and/or adjustments

Tier 1: Increases maximum souls by 5. Also enables the crafting of empty glass tools, initially devoid of any usefulness.

Right side, Demonic essence ( Soul crafting ): This side of the skill tree will be focused on the gradual progression Wortox currently is missing, dropping these items to other characters will quickly drain the souls of the items as they're finally free from wortox's grasp, making them practically worthless

Tier 2: Ancient Guardian drops a FIERCE SOUL, Abosrbing the essence of aggression this creature once had, You may use its power to store in an empty glass helmet which creates the SOULBOUND VISOR granting you 65% Damage reduction, Everytime you strike an enemy with your melee there is a chance that the soul of the ancient guardian awakens and stuns your target for 2 seconds, if your target can't be stunned, it will instead deal a 50 flat damage

NOTES: the item only has 285 durability and reduced damage reduction as stated above, however recharging it with a soul will restore 50% durability, it is intended that the item wouldn't allow you to tank and you will have to utilize soul hopping for dodging more frequently if you choose to use this aggressive side grade over the usual helms

Tier 3: Nightmare Werepig drops a NIGHTMARISH SOUL, allowing you to fill the empty glass armor with to craft a SHADOWGUARD HIDE, granting you 65% damage reduction, You've seen what this creature has seen and gained its experience aganist the shadows, allowing you to completly negate 1 attack from a shadow creature every 3 seconds ( this applies to charlie, but taking damage from charlie will put it on a 10 second cooldown instead ). 

NOTE: this item has the same durability properties as the soulbound visor.

Tier 4: if you decide to use both the SOULDBOUND VISOR and SHADOWGUARD HIDE, Charlie herself will commend your bravery in delving into the ruins. As a reward, she bestows upon you the boon of regeneration: you gain 3 health points with each successful melee strike. survival will still be brutal with your armors' reduced durability and damage reduction but, this will surely be benificial.

Tier 5: Dragonfly drops a FIERY SOUL, you may store this soul in a glass sword which gives you a DRAGONFLAME EDGE that lasts about 3 days if you don't recharge it with souls ( each soul refills 33% of the durability), Hitting enemies with it will exhaust the stored soul even more, losing more durability.

This sword has 30 base damage, but can deal up to 85 damage on hit depending on how full it is, the more durability it has, the more damage it will do. It can also ignite enemies on fire similar to a torch, however this property won't work if the sword is completly empty

SPECIAL ATTACK: you call upon the soul of the dragonfly to aid you in combat, dealing devastating damage to all surronding mobs ( 150 at max durability, 5 minimum at 10% durability)

NOTES: This attack will deplete half of your sword's durability and unusable if you're below 10% durability, 0.75 cast time, cancelable by getting hit so kite wisely while still making sure you're surronded by many enemies!

Tier 6: Klaus instead, drops a FROSTY SOUL, can be stored in the glass soul to grant you a FROSTBOUND REVENANT                                                                                                                                  

Similar to the Dragonflame edge, This sword has 30 base damage, but can deal up to 85 damage on hit depending on the durability and is rechargeable with souls ( Same properties as before ), however this item doesn't ignite enemies, instead hitting enemies has a 50% chance to freeze them

SPECIAL ATTACK: Seek the aid of one who was once a foe, now a servant. klaus's trapped soul strikes the enemy you're attacking twice doing 250 damage each

NOTES: Same as DRAGONFLAME EDGE, this attack will drain 50% of your durability and has 0.75 Cast time Which is intrupptable by damage, DODGE OR DIE!

_______________________________________________________________________________________                                      I haven't thought of how the left side will look like yet, but i imagine it'd be heavily focused on the soul hopping and invicibility frames since i put a heavy emphasis on dodging on the right side of the tree.

 

            

                           

I like the new equipment that you have come up with for the most part, but the way it is procured is not my favorite. I'm also not sure if it is thematically appropriate. Wortox isn't exactly depicted as an artificer.

I haven't put a lot of thought into individual traits for Wortox, but something that might work for his skill tree is to have a branch that benefits his consumption and exploitation of souls and another branch that benefits the releasing of souls and have the two trees mutually exclusive.

The idea being you would need to pick between being Wortox trying to maintain his kind nature or his further corruption.

The kind nature branch could give bonuses to the number of souls Wortox can hold, introduce secondary buffs to releasing them, or reduce (not eliminate) his regular food penalties.

The corruption skill tree could give bonuses to the hunger gained by eating souls, reducing or eliminating the sanity penalty for eating souls, augmenting his soul hop ability, or giving him additional ways to utilize souls.
