No warg after update

Since I got this week's update I cannot spawn a warg no matter what. It doesn't matter if the rift is open or not, all I get are koalefants ... Only simple tracks, none with the wild/thoot tracks.

Day 600+ world and I've killed a few wargs before to get the spark arks, but I can't anymore.

Anyone else having the same issue?

Isn't the warg a 100% chance when the rift is open?

at 100+ days its 16.5% chance on default settings, I think rifts have no effect on spawning. I did see Varg recently on klei server, I think it was after update

they only spawn with a guarantee if the rift is open and killing a mutated varg'll contribute to getting a spark ark, so if you've killed varg during current spark ark cycle but not yet bearger/deerclops/both, you won't get a spark ark from it until you kill them

I have killed deerclops several times after I killed them all and got my 3 spark arks.

If I understood correctly, until I face Bearger again to complete the cycle, it won't reset and thus I won't get a warg, is that it?

yes, you got 1 spark ark for killing all of them for the 1st time, then you get 1 spark ark for each of them in a cycle, so if you got 3, you completed 1 cycle and got 2 in another cycle, so you need to kill the 3rd for vargs to start spawning with a guarantee while there's a rift again
