How to transfer save file to anothe mahcine

I'm trying to transfer my friend's world to mine PC and host it instead because my friend has a network issue and I have a better network.

I've tried:

copy and paste the Cluster with cave (the correct world one from my friend) and replace my new empty duplicated Cluster with cave

but when I host it and spawn the world is like a new world with nothing alike my friend's one as it should be

Any suggestions from you guys or should I try the same method but with the dedicated server instead?

I think I did this once but I don't quite remember how, I did not paste the world over a new one though, try just moving the world into the folder.

Sorry if this doesn't help but it's all I can think of.

I mean, you create a zip (or rar) with the world file and send it to your friend.

Years ago when I was the one who was hosting, they sent me the file this way and it worked.

I've tried this tho but the world from the transferred save is not the same world just as it should it's like an empty newly gen world.
