voidfoo Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 I love Shine Bugs! In the past I used to kill them off to not disturb sleeping dupes. But now I always add them to my Great Hall, Kitchen and Bathroom. +15% 'Lit Workspace' speed buff for dupes +30 decor, per bug! Their rads kill germs (Spaced Out DLC) If you don't have enough wild ones, breeding them is ridiculously cheap at 0.3 kg/cycle of Phosphorite. Their reproduction is so fast, you don't need a big stable at all. Plus, bonus stuff: They always lay an egg before dying, even tame ones! (assuming no cramped/crowded) Need rad source? Dump 100 eggs on single tile w/liquid lock on one side, boom 1500+ rads/cycle, zero maintenance. Need to improve decor for Mysterious Hermit? Primalflower Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 As others have stated, I've found shine bugs quite useful for germ killing especially early game.
