[The Starver]

So, I don't think anyone's ever thought of this. I'm not sure if this is the right place, but this is basically a list (that everyone can add to) of all the references to popular culture, famous writings, or other random references. I'll start this off with:

Hutch and the StarSky:

If you don't already know this one, here's a refresher:

This movie was the worst waste of time of my life.

Of course, as soon as I actually start writing this, I forget every other reference in the game. So, if anyone else remembers something, please add it.

This Wilson skin that has a razor that people usually mistake for a gun (intentional) is a reference to Vash The Stampede from Trigun.

Maxwell's quote for the dark sword (and my forums signature) "Snicker-snack" is a reference to a sword from the novel "Through the looking-glass" by Lewis Caroll, and is a reference to a sword that a monster carries called the vorpal blade

Wormwood's special font name, "Henny Penny" is a reference to the storybook commonly known as Chicken Little. He also has a quote during cave-ins where he says "sky falling!"

The Barber skin is also a reference to Sweeney Todd. The quote (“You, sir! How about a shave?”) is from the song Epiphany, I believe.

Pig Heads are a reference to Lord of the Flies, and so are Wilson’s quote (“Looks like an offering to the beast”) and Wendy’s quote (“Kill the pig. Spill his blood”).

Pretty obvious, but Telltale Hearts are a reference to The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe. Wilson also talks about “the beating of this hideous heart” in his quote, and Walter just says, “Did you ever hear the story about the beating heart hidden under the floorboards?”

Wasn't there a few threads like this? It's a shame we can't merge threads, there are so many in the game!
