Can someone help explain the new werepig boss?

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately, I currently can’t play the beta rn. I was just curious how the boss fight plays out and what the loot is. (Also has Nightmare werepig been changed at all?)

you make it ram into junk piles and fences while it's using the shoulder spike and run away to dodge the halberd and the blast, run to the side if it throws junk into the air

Loot:

• Horizon Expandinator, head equipment, 12days duration, cannot be repaired. When equipped, increases camera height; +2san/min in the day, -1.3san/min in the night.

• 4.5 scraps.

• 0.5 gears.

Spawns in the scrap yard, which is a new set piece guaranteed to spawn in the Forest shard. Currently don't need to defeat Nightmare Werepig first.

10000Hp, 20% defense (reduces physical damage only), 75 damage (not used).

Has multiple attacks:

• Search the Teetering Junk Pile for weapons. He randomly obtain Spiked Axe or Tackling Shoulder Armor before rifts, or a additional Laser Cannon after rifts.

• Swing the spiked axe, dealing 125 damage in range(62.5 to players). Has knockback.

• Charge at the target with shoulder armor, dealing 100*2 damage(50*2 to players). Has knockback.

• Shoot a melee-ranged laser pulse with cannon, dealing 240 damage to entities within 5.4 range and 240~60 damage to entities in 5.4~10 range(180~45 to players and +10 san). Has knockvack.

• When between 10000~6000Hp, he can only hold 1 weapon at the same time. Below 6000 Hp, he can search for the second (or even the third) equipment every 20 seconds if the current weapon hasn't broken.

• The 3 weapons all has 3 duration, when run out of duration the weapon breaks and he instantly go search for a new one. When hits anything, spiked axe and shoulder armor loses 1 duration; cannon loses 1 duration even if it hits nothing after attack.

• When the target gets too far away from the scrap yard, he search the Teetering Junk Pile for a Junkball, then throw it to his target, dealing 30 damage and creating a junkpile on the spot. Junkpiles can be used to break his weapons.
