Cave Boss Idea

I have images this time!!!

Nightmare (Basic info + Spawning)

he will have two versions of himself, before and after rift. Appearing in the caves at Random with Three Signs that he is spawning. His spawning is slightly related to the nightmare cycle, if it's calm he will not spawn.

1st: The Calm part of the nightmare phase is SKIPPED 

2nd: Small Horrors start spawning.

3rd: You start hearing hissing similar to that of the Terror Beak and Crawling Horror

Nightmare (Stats and Phases summary, Pre rift)

12,000 Total HP!

A sanity drain of 500 a minute!

And three phases!

Phase 1: Blind, if the players make sounds he will go over there and attack, his basic attack is Swipe dealing 60 dmg

Phase 2: he gains his sight back and looks a bit torn up. He also gets a lunge attack that deals 100 dmg

Phase 3: he now gets a Continuous attack, a Pulse. If anyone is to close they get hurt (30 dmg) and get knocked back. The pulse gets faster and bigger the closer he gets to 0 HP. Ranged dmg does 1/4 it's normal dmg and the person attacking from range will take 4x the dmg FROM EVERYTHING while the boss is alive

Drops 50-60 Nightmare Fuel

Nightmare (Stats and Phases summary, Rift)

36,000 Total HP!

A sanity drain of 1,000 a minute!

And three phases!

Phase 1: Blind like pre rift, if the players make sounds he will go over there and attack, his basic attack is Swipe dealing 60 dmg and 30 planar, also has a Bite attack if a player is too close, 40 planar.

Phase 2: he gains his sight back and looks a bit torn up. He also gets a lunge attack that deals 150 dmg and 50 planar.

Phase 3: he now gets a Continuous attack, a Pulse. If anyone is to close they get hurt (30 planar) and get knocked back. The pulse gets faster and bigger the closer he gets to 0 HP. Ranged dmg does 1/4 it's normal dmg and the person attacking from range will take 4x the dmg FROM EVERYTHING while the boss is alive

Drops 30-40 Pure Horror and 40 Nightmare Fuel and a blueprint for a helmet that has 100% protection and completely nullifies all sanity drains.

Final Things

this branches from my Cave Rework Idea but theoretically could be a separate thing.

If you know how to Mod I would be happy if you can add Nightmare into a Mod

It getting more hp after the rifts doesn't make any sense because you don't get higher damage weapons after the rift. Instead i suggest giving it some planar protection. Also this is just my opinion but if this is gonna be a raidboss (which we have plenty enough) i'm quite sick of damage sponge bosses. And on top of that massive health pool it also  has 1000 sanity drain per minute! Which makes BQ crown necessary not optional but necessary!

This boss is supposed to be Painfully hard, also the void armor nullifies sanity drains!

The Post-Rift drops an ungodly amount of Nightmare Fuel and Pure Horror as well as a blueprint for a helm that completely nullifies DMG and ALL sanity drains
