Space Stations Idea

I wish they'd design some abandoned space stations that you dock your rocket to.

Imagine a spooky station to explore and repair. where you can find rare resources from rummaging and some unique critters wandering the dark rooms. You could even have some spooky elements from ghost stories or monster movies added in for a fun twist, with the dupes being afraid of whats lurking in the depths of the station. Once the systems are restored and repaired, the station can be used for refueling, researching, and exploring the star map. Maybe some fun Halloween details or blueprints found there, even.

You could even do some cross over stuff with Dont Starve, in the sense that you could have references or even a special dupe based on one of the main characters stuck in a bed room or mess hall.

Dealing with threats could be a bit of a puzzle with several solutions, depending on what order you do them in.

Restoring power is probably first on the list, then access the ventilation systems to restore o2. Maybe you could flood areas with zombie spores or radiation...

Perhaps some rooms have defense systems that can target the unidentified new critters on board?

You could also bring a whole colony worth of dupes on your rocket to blast their way through it all (and risk dupe losses).
