Any ideas for Simon?

I am currently raising money to commission an artist, I want to capture the character of Simon Petrikov (post Adventure Time) but I currently don't have many innovative ideas, can you tell me any you have? I'm all ears.

What if a core part of his gameplay was having a crown you could wear to become more powerful, but suffer side effects during and after it's use? (Wearing it would change his appearance to that of when he was caring for marceline).

For example, being able to freeze enemies in inescapable ice, being able to produce ice. 

Side effects include:

- Immediately becoming insane, with sanity still at 0 after you take it off.

- Being incredibly cold, which is good for summer.

Pengull mastery and being able have them as followers.

Specific quotes for batilisks.

Strong distain for ice.

Strong distain for Crowns *thule crowns, BQ crown etc).

Crown made from blue gems instead of red? (From gold or thule don't matter that much).

He'd refuse wearing the crown but in the constant he might use it as a last resort.

Maybe examining murals can have a quote like: "Power went to his head too huh"

These are just based off my surface knowledge of adventure time.
