DeeterDeet
Alright, I am sure this has been said a billion times, but WE NEED IT. I am sure just about every console player can agree that placing structures is a nightmare on console. We just can't do it. I really want to make a mega base but I can't because no matter what I do, I will never be able to place my structures perfectly aligned. I have been putting off the production of my mega base until this happens. However, PLEASE! I also have a really good idea of how it could be implemented. So, basically, you could be able to craft an item; It could be a magnifying glass, or a pair of thulecite glasses kind of like the gardening glasses you get from the ancient pseudoscience station. Whenever you are wearing it, you place structures along a grid, and if you really wanted, there could be different modes or versions to the craft that allowed for different types of grids. However, there should also be an item that allows for you to place items on the floor geometrically. So basically, this item could be a little grabber thing-a-majigger that has a design similar to the Ultra-Hand made by Nintendo. (It is basically just a little device you can grab things with and here is an image of it:) Spoiler So this hand thing is an item that would go in your hand slot. You can open it and it has a slot where you can put one item in. When closed, you can hover over the item and there will be an option to place item. It will then show the item like a structure would appear for when it is dropped on the floor. You can then place the item the floor geometrically. This is useful for base building and decoration. So basically, WE NEED GEOMETRIC PLACEMENT! Please Klei.....please.....
